Map progress for second Dream
Small Update what is going on, no changes in the Game right now.
The next Odium Map starts to become what it is meant to be. A Maze. A place where the Dreamer wanders and can only hope not to get lost.
Last couple of days I worked a lot refining the Materials and the topographical features. Already the Way isn't as straightforward, even though a lot of obstacles are missing.
The Lanterns and the vine won't stay. There are my small helpers to keep track of the possible ways. No need to to learn them by heart. They will change a lot during development.
Also I developed the possibility for different Spawn Points depending on the Solutions and Task done in the previous Dream. The interconnectivity stays as a very important feature. On the side I write some ideas for the exact flavor text.
As always I disregard all best practice and just do what I feel like and leave room for some scope creep. Therefore I have zero ideas how long this level and its lore will take. Try to write some updates in the meantime. Still weird to see what changed the last 16 Month when I started this journey.
